SEE-Change meeting in Aranda Primary School
SEE-Change, the sustainability and change organisation that presented at the June Community Forum, is holding a public meeting.
The Jamison Climate Change Public Meeting will be held at:
Sunday 5 August, 2pm
Aranda Primary School Hall
The meeting expects to present ecological footprint information from households with students attending the Lake Ginninderra and Hawker colleges.
ACT Government - Community Consultation on School Closures
The ACT Government will be running a series of Community Engagement meetings to discuss the proposed changes to the ACT Schools system.
Meetings will be held in the Belconnen area on:
- Monday 26 June 2006
Copland College - Tuesday 27 June 2006
Canberra High School
The Belconnen Community Council would strongly encourage all interested and concerned residents to attend these meetings so that you can be better informed about the changes and be able to present your view on these changes to the government.
ACT as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
The ACT Government has set up a Committee to inquire into, and report on, issues related to an ACT nomination as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Inquiry into Land Valuations in the ACT
