Due to the lack of promotion of this service by the ACT Government, the number of persons using the service were not seen to be sufficient to make it viable in 2010.

The Belconnen Senior Citizens' Club has reported a decrease in attendance by members by about 10%.

The Council has been informed by affected members (those with no car access) that due to the inadequacy of the Cameron Ave Bus Stop and its surrounds, they have ceased to use the exercise classes at the Belconnen Community Centre. These exercise classes are aimed at maintaining health for the aged in our community.
