SCULLIN SHOPS UPDATE

To whom it may concern,

I am working with Susan Conroy as part of a team that have been engaged to undertake a consultation and design process regarding the refurbishment of the Scullin Shops.

Next Sat 4th April we will be holding a drop-in consultation at the Scullin shops. Attached is an information flyer about the drop-in.

This information was provided to the Belconnen Community Council by Sandy Scott. If you have any comments they can be forwarded to us at belcouncil@yahoo.com.au.

The Belconnen Community Council strongly encourages anyone who is interested in the rules and guidelines governing planning in the ACT to attend the public briefing meetings on the changes. Artists, arts groups and organisations, audiences and other interested people, please join the Belconnen Arts Centre development team to learn about how you can be involved in the development of the Belconnen Arts Centre program.Information on spaces for hire as well as the services that the centre will provide will be available. It will also be a great opportunity to network with other members of the community who are interested in the arts in Belconnen and the Ginninderra Electorate.

Susan Conroy, Cultural Planner, has been engaged by TAMS to find social and cultural information that will help identify the needs of the Scullin community. Redbox Design Group will prepare a preliminary design for the shops using information from the consultations.

When you are out shopping for gifts more often then not its a case of utter confusion on what you should buy for a gift. This can be the when it comes to selecting mother's day gift as well. I think the best way to tell your mother that you care and appreciate her is by giving her Mothers Day Flowers, its just so that she feels that she is special for you.
